SMS Services

We deliver an SMS service direct from the internet. The service is designed in such a way that it couldn’t be easier to send a text message. 


With our web service you can send individual SMS messages or bulk SMS messages to all of your clients. Recipients can be put into specific groups so bulk SMS can be sent to a specific sector of your clientele.

Importing mobile phone numbers is simple with an easy import using a spreadsheet. So don’t worry, you won’t be there for days keying in number after number.

Bulk text message can become personalised using “Mail merge”. Within your database of mobile numbers you can have specific information about each user. The message can read:

“Hi ‘Name’, MS Internet have just
launched their SMS web service.
If you wish to contact your Clients
 via text. We can incorporate the
service into ‘website address’.

We can set up the service in any bespoke way to fit your business model and to ensure ease of use. Large amounts of Bulk SMS can be sent in a matter of seconds.

SMS to and from your Email

 
Our “SMS Web service” should fulfil a vast amount of functionality. However as an alternative/addition you may want to be able to text customers from an email client such as Outlook, Outlook express, Google mail etc. This service allows you to send and receive text messages to and from an email address. This process uses an email to SMS gateway.

SMS Gateway setup (API)

 
When registering with this service there are two ways in which you will be able to send web text messages. Firstly you will have a username where you can log in to your own private sending area within the www.mstxt.co.uk site. Alternatively we can implement the system into your site so you can access the texting gateway through your administration area or automated in site.

Both options will give the ability to individually add users and mass import a large amount of numbers
 
Receiving Texts
Once you are part of the MS Txt service, you are also able to receive text messages. These messages can be stored within an online inbox which we incorporate into your site.

If you wanted customers to reply to the messages which you send out, this is possible through renting a dedicated inbound number. All Texts will go to this number and be forwarded on to an email address or your txt inbox.

Your account can also be set up to receive Multimedia messages, i.e. images, audio and video. This can be made useful in many ways, for example: with our web development branch MS Internet, sometimes clients take photos of logos and graphics they see whilst about and about as inspiration to what they want within there site/app.

SMS Short Code

 
A short-code is basically a telephone number which is 5 digits in length e.g. 62111. A dedicated short-code is quite expensive, but use of a keyword on a shared short-code is a more cost effective option.

You may have seen in the past “text ‘frog’ to 80001 to receive your crazy ring tone” We can setup this system in a way which will charge a premium rate for users who text in.

The premium rate can be set at certain price levels. The pricing has to be given careful consideration, as one set the premium rate cannot be changed for a keyword. Also a proportion of the billed amount is retained by the network.

MMS Sending

 
This service will allow you to send customers images, audio and video from within your site. MS TXT also has a dedicated design team, so they can design custom MMS messages to best suit the purpose. There is no charge for users to receive MMS where they would have to download the asset if sent via wap-push.
